Software Available at WHSC Library

The Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library provides software analysis tools essential to health sciences research. Genomic and Proteomic Analysis tools can be downloaded for use on non-library computers.

Specialized software can be found on the 2 designated PCs near the Informationist Office, located on the Plaza level of the WHSC Library. Access to these computers is limited to individuals with an Emory NetID and password. Priority is for those using the specialized tools. Please refer to the WHSC Library Specialized Software research guide for links to training materials for these applications.

Analysis tools are provided through the library for individual use. Registration is required but tools may be downloaded to authorized computers. Questions regarding these tools should be directed to Jeremy Kupsco.

    • DNAStar Lasergene: Comprehensive software suite for DNA and protein sequence analysis.
    • MetaCore: Pathway analysis and data mining

DNAStar Lasergene may be downloaded directly from Emory Software Express.

Registration is available for Emory University Employees only. To register for MetaCore use Ask a Librarian or email Jeremy Kupsco. You will then receive a direct email with login information.
