Journals and Newspapers

Emory Libraries provide access to over 100,000 journals and newspapers.

Journals

For a full listing of our e-journal holdings, please search the eJournals A-Z list. Emory Libraries provide access to most major academic journal packages, including Wiley, Springer, Elsevier, Taylor and Francis, Sage and Oxford University Press (OUP). To access the full content of many of our subscribed and licensed journals, you will need to authenticate as an Emory user. Either go through the eJournals A-Z list, or use the Emory Proxy Resolver Bookmarklet to reload the webpage. Many of our databases contain full-text journal content (in particular, our EBSCO databases), and/or contain a FindIt@Emory icon that links to our holdings.  To review and browse current holdings, please consider taking advantage of the web or app version of Browzine.

Current print journals and newspapers are held in the Matheson Reading Room; older print copies are in the Stacks and Library Service Center (LSC). You may submit requests from the physical collection and LSC by logging into Library Search. Use My Library Card in Library Search to check on pending item requests.

Newspapers

Emory Libraries provide access, in a variety of formats, to a substantial number of current and historical news sources. Key resources, accessible directly via Databases A-Z, or by title in eJournals A-Z, include ProQuest Current and Historical Papers, Access World News, Press Display and Nexis Uni. Please consider using the Newspaper Guide for further details and tips.
